Vivid impressions, captivating emotions, the soulfulness of the ceremony - when you are a couple, they are multiplied by two! Interview with Igor and Yana who got engaged in Thailand for the magazine "Wedding"
Why did you choose to have a wedding abroad?
Since we have known each other for quite a long time, we wanted to be able to tune into a romantic mood before the official registration of marriage in our country, so to speak, to add new colors to our relationship, to get new impressions that will unite us even more. In our opinion, unusual, bright and even exotic experiences are possible when there is an opportunity to escape from the usual environment that surrounds us every day. In the life of every couple, bright joint impressions play a significant role, which brighten and renew relationships, and thus create a reliable foundation for family happiness.
In Russia, it often happens that a wedding, as a formal and public event, is held more for the guests: friends, relatives and only then for the newlyweds. Despite the honoring of the newlyweds and the traditional "Bitter!" the entire wedding process serves to entertain the guests. In such a case, romance often disappears.
Despite the fact that we travel a lot and have already visited different countries, it seemed to us that holding a wedding ceremony abroad was an unaffordable luxury, accompanied by great difficulties in organization and impressive expenses.
Therefore, we were pleasantly surprised that holding a wedding ceremony in the Kingdom of Thailand is a great alternative to a banquet, it is an exciting adventure that fits even into a not very big budget.
What criteria did you use to choose Thailand?
The idea of holding an engagement ceremony in Thailand seemed very attractive to us from the very beginning. We fell in love with this country from our first trip together. This sunny, colorful country seems to be permeated with the spirit of unity and harmony - with oneself, with each other and with pristine nature. Here you can escape from the daily hustle and bustle and touch eternal values.
Were your expectations not disappointed?
Our first impressions of the trip to the Kingdom of Thailand are connected with the sensations of extraordinary hospitality, openness and thoughtful calm of the locals. And, of course, the sea! Clean and bright, having its own color and character depending on the beach.
The engagement ceremony itself was permeated with an atmosphere of comfort and coziness. There was a feeling that the whole world favors us and blesses us for common happiness, that all the beauty of nature is given to us and to no one else - it is difficult to put into words! Incredible delight and inspiration! We express our deep gratitude to the representatives of the company "Wedding Romance": who helped with the organization and holding of the wedding ceremony we had planned and helped to realize our most romantic wishes. They developed the concept of the entire event and took a very responsible approach to its organization.
Have you chosen a specific package of services for the celebration?
We chose a romantic symbolic ceremony on a secluded beach. The ceremony took place in the morning hours, when it is not so hot and a breeze comes down from the mountains. A flower arch, a bouquet for the bride, a cake and champagne were waiting for us on the beach. We also decided to touch the Siamese culture and ordered traditional Thai wedding suits. The ceremony itself lasted 20-30 minutes, followed by an exciting photo shoot.
What was the most exciting?
The sun, the sea, incredibly beautiful costumes, the opportunity to look at such a ceremony through the eyes of a representative of another culture.
Thanks to the ceremony organizers who were able to save us from the hustle and bustle and combine a romantic engagement ceremony with an exciting honeymoon just for two.
