Why did you choose to have your wedding abroad?
Since we've known each other for quite some time, we wanted to get into a romantic mood before officially registering our marriage in our country, so to speak, to add new colors to our relationship and gain new experiences that would bring us even closer together. We believe that unusual, vibrant, and even exotic experiences are possible when we have the opportunity to escape the familiar environment that surrounds us every day. In the life of every couple, vibrant shared experiences play a significant role, enriching and renewing the relationship, thereby creating a solid foundation for marital happiness.
In Russia, weddings, as a formal and public event, are often held primarily for guests—friends and relatives—and only then for the newlyweds. Despite the celebrations for the newlyweds and the traditional "Bitter!", the entire wedding process is designed to entertain the guests. Romance often fades in this situation.
Even though we travel a lot and have already visited many different countries, we felt that holding a wedding ceremony abroad was an unaffordable luxury, accompanied by great difficulties in organization and significant expenses.
So we were pleasantly surprised to discover that holding a wedding ceremony in the Kingdom of Thailand is a wonderful alternative to a banquet, an exciting adventure that fits even a modest budget.
What criteria did you use to choose Thailand?
The idea of holding our engagement ceremony in Thailand initially seemed very appealing to us. We fell in love with this country from our first trip together. This sunny, colorful country seems imbued with the spirit of unity and harmony—with oneself, with each other, and with pristine nature. Here you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and connect with eternal values.
Didn't disappoint your expectations?
Our first impressions of our trip to the Kingdom of Thailand were of the extraordinary hospitality, openness, and thoughtful calm of the locals. And, of course, the sea! Clear and vibrant, with its own color and character depending on the beach.
The engagement ceremony itself was permeated with an atmosphere of comfort and coziness. It felt like the whole world was looking out for us and blessing us with happiness, like all the beauty of nature was bestowed upon us and no one else—it's hard to describe in words! Incredible delight and inspiration! We express our deepest gratitude to the representatives of the "Wedding Romance" company, who helped organize and execute the wedding ceremony we envisioned and brought our most romantic dreams to life. They developed the concept for the entire event and took a very responsible approach to its organization.
Have you chosen a specific package for your celebration?
We opted for a romantic, symbolic ceremony on a secluded beach. It took place in the morning, when the temperature was cooler and a breeze was blowing down from the mountains. A flower arch, a bridal bouquet, a cake, and champagne awaited us on the beach. We also decided to incorporate Siamese culture and ordered traditional Thai wedding attire. The ceremony itself lasted 20-30 minutes, followed by a captivating photo session.
What was the most exciting?
Sun, sea, incredibly beautiful costumes, the opportunity to see a similar ceremony through the eyes of a representative of another culture.
Thanks to the ceremony organizers who were able to save us from the hassle and combine a romantic engagement ceremony with an exciting honeymoon for just the two of us.
