Several years ago, the representative office of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Kingdom of Thailand opened an Orthodox church in honor of the Ascension of the Lord on the island of Koh Samui. This allowed Orthodox believers who came or lived on the island to perform the sacrament of marriage according to all the canons of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The company "Romantic Weddings&Events" is pleased to offer couples from all over Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries its services for organizing a wedding on the island of Koh Samui.
The offer includes:
- The sacrament of marriage in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord on Samui;
- Preliminary meeting with the acting rector of the church, Father Alexei, a few days before the wedding;
- Bouquet for the bride;
- Boutonniere for the groom;
- Hair and makeup for the bride from a professional Russian stylist;
- Transfer for a couple: hotel – temple – hotel;
- Professional photography of the entire wedding sacrament and shooting after the ceremony in beautiful places (beach, temple, garden);
- Official wedding certificate.

Weddings on Samui are held according to all the canons of the Russian Orthodox Church, therefore those wishing to get married must be believing baptized Orthodox Christians.

It is very difficult to put into words our delight!
The organizational aspect was at the highest level. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of communication and understanding of our small requests at a glance!
When we were still in Moscow, Svetlana helped us resolve preliminary organizational issues. Svetlana, thank you very much for your help, for your patient answers to our numerous questions.
Upon arrival in Thailand, we met a wonderful person, the curator of our Wedding Ceremony - Anastasia. She explained the program of the entire upcoming event and thereby dispelled the remaining worries.
